Viessmann automatic water softeners are used to reduce the hardness of cold water fed into the water system. In this way, limescale build-up is prevented, ensuring a longer life cycle for all water-using devices.
The VS124 softener from Viessmann is suitable for use in dedicated systems for flats or single and two-family homes. Due to its small dimensions, it is also easy to install in small technical rooms. Through the principle of ion exchange, it removes calcium, magnesium and other dissolved minerals in the water, which are mainly responsible for the formation of limescale.
