Vitoset Aqua VS34S: The reliable solution for system protection
With the softened water of Vitoset Aqua it is easier to clean the bathroom fixtures and dishes and ensures a long life for the system and appliances. Viessmann’s Vitoset Aqua products protect water pipes and devices that use water, such as boilers, kettles and household appliances (including washing machines, dishwashers, coffee machines and cookers) from scaling and damage. This does not extend the life and significantly reduces the likelihood of repair costs. Furthermore, with softened water it is easier to clean bathroom fixtures and dishes.
Vitoset Aqua water softening systems are available in five sizes with a flow rate of 15 to 28 liters per minute. The three sizes of the models can meet different needs in the intended installation location. For example, the VS34S unit fits aesthetically and functionally very well with a wall-mounted heat generator, such as the Vitocal 200-S air-to-water heat pump, for a family of up to 3 people.

The water softening system works according to the proven ion exchange process to produce softened domestic water. Water supplied by the water company passes through a resin cartridge, where it is softened and filtered. The device’s intelligent control unit monitors the condition of the resin and automatically regenerates it by rinsing with brine. This ensures optimal and consistent water quality. Apart from adding salt tablets and the recommended annual technical check-up, no further maintenance is required.
